Oh wow, that’s really interesting! We’ve never looked at it from that perspective. That someone has to learn German vocabulary to pass the English-translation test. That’s actually strange.
It’s a shame that Austria still doesn’t offer a purely English radiotelephony certificate (like the BZF E in Germany). That makes it incredibly difficult to get an EFZ if you aren't very good in German. But it seems that you are good enough! Congratulations!
